HiHat - music for Ulf Lorensson's statue HiHat

The statue and the sound installation was a decoration commissioned 1998 by TELARI for celebrate 50 years of Telia being in the estate at Hornsgatan I03 in Stockholm. There was a reopening of the installation in June 2013.

Today the estate owned by STIM and has a lot of tenants for example Svensk Musik, KRO amongst others connected to artistic activities.

The statue is about 3 meters tall and made of Bronze. The you hit it music will be trigger, 74 pieces totally. Pieces are between 5 and 15 seconds and every touch gives a random piece.

For the album I put together the 74 pieces in four groups, too many to make each single piece in 74 single tracks, I tried to make a variation so you get the idea of random.

Also I wanted to put the original recorded six modules of total 155 pieces.
